Puglianello: Un Futuro Luminoso per l’Istruzione con la Primaria Completamente Rinnovata; Cerimonia Giovedì

On Thursday, May 13, at 11:00 AM, the community of Puglianello will gather for the inauguration ceremony marking the extensive modernization work completed at the Primary School on Via Paribella. This significant event will see the participation of several prominent figures, including the Prefect of Benevento, Carlo Torlontano; the Regional Education Superintendent, Vito Alfonso; the European Member of Parliament, Isabella Adinolfi; the Headmaster of the “Alessandro Manzoni” Comprehensive Institute, Giovanni Aurilio; and the Mayor, Francesco Maria Rubano.

The comprehensive intervention focused on critical enhancements, encompassing seismic safety upgrades, a thorough structural overhaul, extraordinary maintenance, and significant improvements in energy efficiency for the local elementary school building. These crucial renovations were made possible through a competitive funding program launched by the Ministry of Education. Notably, the Municipality of Puglianello secured a top-tier position, ranking first among all municipalities in the Sannio area and an impressive second statewide in Campania, surpassed only by Novi Velia in the Salerno province. This achievement is particularly remarkable given that only eight municipalities across Campania were selected for this prestigious funding.

Mayor Francesco Maria Rubano emphasized the significance of this milestone: “Another commitment from our electoral platform can now be proudly checked off the list. The initiation of these works, undertaken during a globally challenging period due to the pandemic, underscores, among other things, the exceptional quality of the projects developed by the Municipality of Puglianello and the unwavering dedication we have poured into this effort daily, navigating the difficulties posed by Covid-19 with considerable personal and political sacrifices.” He further extended his gratitude, stating, “I take this opportunity to thank not only our administrative majority group but also the technical team, the designers, and all municipal employees who consistently dedicate themselves to making our town increasingly welcoming, secure, and a recognized hub of excellence. Being part of this select group of eight municipalities in Campania fills us with immense pride and motivates us to redouble our efforts in meeting the community’s needs and fulfilling its expectations.”

Echoing the Mayor’s sentiments, Antonello De Lucia, the Councillor delegated for School Building, described the upcoming event: “Thursday will undoubtedly be a historic day for Puglianello, and we assert this with profound pride. This project ensures the highest level of safety for our children, allowing them to learn and attend lessons in a state-of-the-art facility with superior energy performance, fully compliant with modern standards, and completely devoid of seismic risk. The building has undergone a complete revitalization to create a warmer and more inviting educational environment. Our young learners will flourish in a protected space, secure from any potential danger. Our mission is to serve the populace, and enhancing the quality of life for our citizens is a source of immense satisfaction for us.”
